Product
Find the thing worth building.
Understand the person using it, the problem they have, and what would actually make their day better.
Jobs at Bluebird · An open invitation
A real product. A useful tool. Something you took from “what if” to “it works”. That’s where we’d like to start.
Talent before titles
We’re open to meeting exceptional builders. Your credentials and employment history aren’t the deciding factor. What you can actually build is.
Good work can come from anywhere.01 / The way you think
Know your craft. See beyond it.
Go deep in your craft, and stay curious about everything around it. You don’t need equal expertise in all four areas. You do need to connect them.
Product
Understand the person using it, the problem they have, and what would actually make their day better.
Business
Connect your decisions to the business: its customers, constraints, costs and reason for investing in the product.
Technology
Turn an idea into working software. Understand the trade-offs, own the rough edges, and care about what happens after launch.
Design
Notice the confusing flow, the missing feedback, the detail that gets in someone’s way. Good design is part of building.
02 / The person beside the work
We want teammates we look forward to spending time with: thoughtful, approachable people who listen, share what they know, and can disagree with care.
You’ll also talk to clients. Ask good questions. Explain a decision without hiding behind jargon. Be friendly, professional and dependable when things are easy, and when they aren’t.
You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room. You do need to be part of the conversation.
03 / Where you are
We’ve hired across continents and time zones. If you’re the right person, you’re the right person.
We’re flexible about working hours and contract types. Let’s talk about an arrangement that works for you, the team and the clients we build for.
04 / Your work is the introduction
Start with one thing you’re proud of. Help us see what you can do and how you think. A CV is welcome if it adds context; the work is what matters.
A few things to include
A live product, a side project, a repository, a demo or a walkthrough. Give us something concrete to explore.
Tell us what you personally built and what other people contributed. We want to understand your work, not just the finished result.
Who was it for? What was the hard decision? What worked, what didn’t, and what would you change now?
A little about you, where you’re based, and the working hours and kind of arrangement you’re looking for.
Can’t share the work publicly? Describe it or share a walkthrough of what you’re allowed to show. Leave confidential code and client information out.
This is an open introduction, not an application for a specific vacancy.
