## The context

Craft Financial, now Craft, was born out of the need to simplify billing for freelancers and creatives, so they can focus on their work rather than administration. We were asked for an MVP; the pace of the build turned it into a full product.

## Our contribution

Our work covered the platform architecture for quotes and invoices, turning a quote into an invoice, recurring invoices and multi-customer quotes, payment reconciliation and in-platform payments, and integration with 22seven banking data. Account personalisation, Google sign-in, and SMS and email integrations rounded out the product.

## The result

Three months and a small team took Craft from brief to a working platform: a dashboard with a timeline of quotes and invoices, documents sent and paid through the product, and a foundation that later demand grew on.
